Individual Player National Championship Tournament
Quiz bowl is usually a team game, but the Individual Player National Championship Tournament (IPNCT) welcomes individual players to see how their knowledge, reflexes, and anticipation stack up against those of other elite competitors.
The tournament is intended for high school players, but ambitious middle school players are welcome too. No prior qualification is required. (In 2019, 2021, and 2022 a separate Middle School Division was offered.)
The 2024 IPNCT was won by Ali Hamzeh of the Kinkaid School (Houston, Texas). It was held on Sunday, April 7 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois (near Chicago).
The 2025 IPNCT will be Sunday, April 6 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois (near Chicago).
