2010 Sectional Championship Tournaments

NAQT is pleased to announce that it now accepting bids from colleges and universities to host the 2010 four-year collegiate Sectional Championship Tournaments (SCTs) on the weekend of February 5-7, 2010 (Friday-Sunday).

The SCTs are the principal means by which teams will qualify for the 2010 Intercollegiate Championship Tournament.

The host requirements have changed slightly from last year; hosts and attending teams should read them carefully and make sure that all of their provisions are understood. Feel free to contact NAQT at sct@naqt.com if any clarification is needed.

To submit a bid, send the following information to NAQT at hosting@naqt.com by September 30, 2009:

• Addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses for the two student (or one faculty) contacts
• Estimated maximum field size
• Brief list of recent tournaments hosted
• Specific plans for getting new teams involved with the SCTs
• Positive assertion that all contacts have completely read the host requirements

Schools may also bid to host a Community College SCT.
