The Sectional Championship Tournaments (SCTs) are the principal means by which collegiate teams qualify for the NAQT Intercollegiate Championship Tournament. Sectional Tournaments are held in February of each year at eight to ten sites in the United States and Canada.

Separate SCTs are held for four-year schools and two-year schools, though two-year schools are welcome to attend the four-year tournaments as well to improve their chances of qualifying.
